2018 Tour de France winner and Olympic gold medallist Geraint Thomas is 'celebrating the hard work of front line workers and raising money for the NHS', cycling 12 hour shifts for three consecutive days in his garage, mirroring a typical NHS hospital shift.
The Welsh professional cyclist will ride on virtual training platform Zwift on April 15-17, and commented 'Like everyone around the country I have been humbled by the hard work, bravery and professionalism of the NHS... I know this is a hard time for everyone but I hope that people will be able to make even the smallest donation to a great cause. And if people are keen to join, sign up and ride with me!'.
